Restorative Yoga + Sound Bath Journey Immerse yourself in a deeply nurturing experience designed to calm the mind, restore the body, and uplift the spirit. ✨ What to Expect 🫖 Tea + Intention Setting — 15 mins A gentle arrival ritual to ground your energy and set a personal intention. 🧘♀️ Restorative Yoga — 45 mins (Led by Carolyn) Slow, supported postures to release tension and invite deep relaxation. 🎶 Sound Bath — 60 mins (Led by Maureen) Soothing vibrations from singing bowls and healing instruments to realign mind and body. How Sound Healing Works Everything is vibration Your body, organs, and emotions all have natural frequencies. When you're stressed or unwell, these frequencies can become "out of tune." Sound helps restore balance Instruments such as crystal bowls, gongs, and tuning forks produce harmonic vibrations that can help bring the body back into a more balanced state — physically, emotionally, and energetically. Calms the nervous system Gentle, repetitive sounds help shift the brain from active beta waves into slower alpha, theta, or delta states, which promote relaxation, creativity, and deep rest. Deep physical release Sound waves travel efficiently through water and soft tissue. Since the body is around 70% water, sound can penetrate deeply into muscles and fascia, helping to release physical tension and stagnation. Emotional processing through the limbic system Sound influences the limbic system — the emotional centre of the brain.
