Art and strategies for the secondary school transition Welcome to The Creative Toolkit! Moving to secondary school is an exciting adventure, but it is completely normal for your child to feel a mix of nerves, worry, and uncertainty. Led by two qualified Art Therapists, we use creative arts and practical coping tools to help your child externalise their worries, celebrate their strengths, and build emotional resilience. Our Creative Toolkit workshops provide a safe, supportive space for Year 5 and 6 pupils to process this huge milestone. What your child will gain: Confidence: Tools to recognise their unique strengths Calm: Simple, physical grounding techniques for moments of stress. Connection: The comfort of knowing they are not alone in their feelings A Tangible Toolkit: A personalised "pocket resource" to take into their new school
