Neon Summer Term 2026: Year 2,3 & 4

About this event

Our popular Neon After School workshops explore a variety of art forms, techniques and styles for children and young people who are interested in the visual and performing arts. Over each term young people explore, create and develop original work from scratch around a theme agreed by the group culminating in a performance showcasing the term’s work. Alongside weekly sessions with our in-house practitioners, Sadie Hurley and James Middleton, we occasionally invite artists working in spoken word, visual arts, puppetry, costume, special FX and digital arts to offer a chance to learn new skills, develop in confidence and imagination and have fun! Neon Afterschool take place in the Quarterhouse auditorium. Start time/s: Reception and Year 1, 3.45pm- 4:30pm, for Years 2, 3 & 4, 4.45pm – 5:45pm, for Years 5 & 6, 6pm – 7pm, for Years 7-11, 7.15pm – 8:30pm Neon Summer Term 2026 21 April 28 April 5 May 12 May 19 May 26 May HALF TERM 2 June 9 June 16 June 23 June 30 June 7 July 14 July There are 2 free places per year group available for children claiming pupil premium with proof from school on a first come first served basis.
