Local Authors Showcase at Redhill Library

Meet the Writers Behind the Stories Join us for an inspiring evening celebrating talented local authors in a unique and interactive "author speed-dating" experience. Rather than listening to a single talk, you'll have the opportunity to meet several local writers over the course of the evening. Authors will be based at different locations around the library, and guests will be divided into small groups of approximately 6 to 10 people. Each group will rotate around the venue, spending dedicated time with every participating author. We're delighted to be joined by four local authors: Kerry Fisher - International bestselling author of contemporary women's fiction. Jasper M. Jones - Local novelist and storyteller. Martin Hurcomb - Author and engaging speaker with a passion for sharing stories. Esther Menary - Writer of captivating fiction and compelling characters. Every author will lead a short 10 to 15 minute session in their own style. Expect a fascinating mix of talks, readings, questions and answers, discussions about the writing process, and insights into their latest books. This fast-paced format offers a unique chance to discover new writers, hear different perspectives, and engage directly with authors in a relaxed and friendly setting. Following the final rotation, there will be time to mingle, continue conversations with the authors, and purchase signed copies of books. Key information about booking: The event starts at 7.30pm The event is suitable for adults and young people aged 16+ Please purchase a ticket for each person attending. There is a charge of £5 per ticket Booking is essential, so be quick to avoid disappointment Refreshments will be available Please arrive 10 minutes early This event is in support of the Reigate and Banstead Arts Takeover and the National Year of Reading.
