Pre-school nature group for childminders & individuals where nature and adventure combine Buggin' About is expanding! New to 2026 is our Tuesday sessions. These are ideal for childminders but also suitable for individuals who can't make our Friday sessions. Does your little one like to explore? Are they fascinated by nature? Do they love nothing more than being outdoors? Our pre-school nature sessions give your little ones time to explore and learn all about nature. With a mud kitchen for messy play, firepit for group fun, themed craft activities for imaginative fun, there is so much to do at Buggin' About. Each session we have a new nature theme to help shape your little one's learning about the wonderful world in which they live. Our nature activities cater for all areas of children's development as well as giving them precious time together with friends in our beautiful centre grounds. Buggin' About ... where nature and adventure combine. Our dates for 2026 are as follows: Term 1 10th February - Recycling Term 2 24th February - Trees 10th March - World Book Day 24th March - Allotments Term 3 21st April - Earth Day 5th May - Leaves Term 4 2nd June - World Environment Day 16th June - Insects 30th June - Nature Sounds 14th July - Flowers Term 5 8th September - Minibeasts 22nd September - Bats 6th October - Worms 20th October - Spiders Term 6 3rd November - Hedgehogs 17th November - Mud 1st December - Woodland *** please note all themes are subject to change Suitable from walking and best suited to ages 2.5 years and above. Please note that the sessions take place outside so appropriate clothing and footwear is required for children and adults. Buggin' About is kindly sponsored by Great Chart with Singleton Parish Council. ALL places must be reserved on Eventbrite and then Childminder groups will be invoiced monthly. Individuals must pay at the start of the session. Payment can be made via QR code or cash/card payment in the cafe. Please ensure you cancel your booking if no longer able to attend.
