Hythe Venetian Fete 2026

About this event

Every two years during the third week of August, a 500-metre stretch of the Royal Military Canal in Hythe is transformed into an open-air theatre. Visitors enjoy music from various bands and singers throughout the week. The focal point is Wednesday's Grand Parade, a celebration of creativity and teamwork in a flotilla of decorated barges. Free canal bank concerts return on Sunday 16 August and Monday 17 August.
